Privacy Policy
This page explains, in plain language, what information this website collects, why, and what choices you have about it.
Overview
NetworkTools Digital ("we", "us") operates this website to provide information about API security audit services for companies handling payment or transaction data. This policy covers the information collected when you visit the site or use the contact form. It does not cover information handled as part of a client engagement, which is addressed separately in engagement-specific agreements.
Information we collect
We collect information in two ways. First, information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, and message when you use the contact form. Second, limited technical information collected automatically through cookies, such as browser type and general usage patterns, but only for categories you have consented to.
We do not require you to create an account to browse this site, and we do not collect payment details through it.
How we use information
Information submitted through the contact form is used only to respond to your inquiry. We do not use it for automated decision-making, profiling, or unrelated marketing without a separate, explicit opt-in.
Cookies and tracking
This site uses a cookie consent tool that lets you choose which categories of cookies are active: necessary, functional, analytics, and marketing. Necessary cookies are always on because the site would not function correctly without them. Details of each category are available through the cookie icon in the bottom-right corner of every page, and a separate Cookie Policy describes this in more depth.
Data retention
Messages sent through the contact form are kept only as long as needed to respond to the inquiry and for a reasonable period afterward for record-keeping, after which they are deleted or anonymized. Cookie preference records are kept for up to 180 days unless you clear them sooner through your browser settings.
Your rights under Taiwan's Personal Data Protection Act
If you are located in Taiwan, the Personal Data Protection Act (個人資料保護法) gives you rights over personal data we hold about you, including the right to inquire whether we hold your data, request a copy of it, request corrections, and request deletion, subject to applicable legal exceptions. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
Third-party services
This site loads some resources from third-party providers, such as font and icon libraries and mapping services used on the contact page. These providers may process limited technical data, such as IP address, as part of delivering those resources, under their own privacy terms.
Data security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information submitted through this site against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children's privacy
This website is intended for business audiences and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under the age of 18 through this site.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update.
